Place Alocasia 'Nairobi Nights' Variegata in a spot with bright, indirect light to optimally maintain its variegation; strong direct sunlight can burn the light-colored parts, and too little light will fade the color. Use an airy, well-draining potting mix, such as one containing bark, perlite, and coir, and water as soon as the top 10-15% of the soil is slightly dry. Maintain a temperature between approximately 18-27°C (64-80°F), with humidity preferably 60-80%, and avoid drafts and cold spots.
