Refund Policy

At Casa Botanica, we sell live houseplants. Every plant is unique and reacts to shipping, temperature, light, and care. That is why we ask customers to handle the plants with care during the return period. As a consumer, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of receipt.

Terms and Conditions:
•⁠⁠The plant must, if reasonably possible, be returned in its original condition and packaging.
•⁠ ⁠The plant must not show any damage, drying out, kinks, or cold or heat damage that occurred after receipt.
•⁠ ⁠Depreciation resulting from careless handling of living products may be charged to the customer.
•⁠ ⁠Return shipments are at the customer’s risk. We recommend shipping with track & trace.

Because plants are living products, their appearance, condition, or health may change during or after the cooling-off period. Minor imperfections, natural discoloration, or minor shipping damage are considered normal characteristics of the product.

Plants
Plants are eligible for replacement or refund only in the following cases:
- transport damage
- an incorrect delivery
If this is the case, you must report it within 48 hours of receipt via support@casa-botanica.com.

Please include clear photos of:
- the outside of the package
- the inside of the package
- the shipping label
- the plant(s) in question


Accessories Accessories are subject to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal following receipt.
To be eligible for a return, you must be able to provide proof of purchase.

Sending a Return
After notifying us of the return, you have 14 days to send the product back.

If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to try the product, we may charge you for this reduction in value. Please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged for return.

The following also applies to plants: returns are only accepted with our approval and exclusively if the plant is unchanged and returned in its original packaging. This means: not repotted, not propagated, and not altered.

Based on this information, we will review the report and determine an appropriate resolution, such as a replacement or a (partial) refund.

Return Shipping Costs
You are responsible for the cost of returns. You may choose your own carrier, and we recommend sending your return shipment with tracking so that you always have proof of shipment.

Once approved, you will receive instructions for returning the item. Returns without prior notification will not be accepted.

Depreciation
If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged beyond what is necessary to try the product, we may charge you for this depreciation of the product. Therefore, please handle the product with care and ensure it is properly packaged when returning it.

Refunds
We will then refund the order amount within 14 days of receiving your return notification, provided that the product has already been returned in good condition.

Please note that processing refunds may take some time, depending on your bank or payment provider.
