Alocasia Black Velvet Aurea

This plant remains compact with thick, heart-shaped leaves of approximately 10-15 cm, a dark green to almost black base, with striking silver/silver-white veins and unusual aurea spots that vary per plant. Provide bright, indirect light (sufficient light promotes yellow variegation), avoid direct sunlight on the yellow parts to prevent scorching. Use an airy, well-draining substrate, keep the soil slightly moist but not saturated, and maintain high humidity (± 65-85%) and consistently warm temperatures (at least approximately 20-27°C) for healthy growth.
